Account Deletion
You can delete your Handoff account and associated data directly in the app. Deletion is
permanent and cannot be reversed.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Handoff app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and follow the on‑screen instructions.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What is deleted
- Account profile (name, email/phone), authentication identifiers
- Task posts, bids, in‑app messages, and media uploads (photos/videos) associated with your account
What may be retained
- Payment and transaction records (e.g., Stripe receipts) retained as required by law (up to 7 years)
- Fraud prevention and security logs (up to 24 months)
- Dispute‑related data for active disputes or where legally necessary
