Account Deletion

You can delete your Handoff account and associated data directly in the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Handoff app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete account and follow the on‑screen instructions.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What is deleted

• Account profile (name, email/phone), authentication identifiers
• Task posts, bids, in‑app messages, and media uploads (photos/videos) associated with your account

What may be retained

• Payment and transaction records (e.g., Stripe receipts) retained as required by law (up to 7 years)
• Fraud prevention and security logs (up to 24 months)
• Dispute‑related data for active disputes or where legally necessary
